I won't have to pull the plug, my wall has an electrical switch that can cut power to the wall socket that is connected to my devices. I'm asking this because, recently my psu and mobo died and someone said it's because of my habit of killing the power to wall socket after every use. Usually...

Question Weird startup behavious (delay) (usb input)

Interesting stuff about psu capacitors. I took the PSU to the local service point of official corsair so no cost involved there; it was the only component still in warranty. Even if my mobo or gpu is gone, i cant afford a new one right now 🙃

Question Weird startup behavious (delay) (usb input)

Interesting, i didn't know i shouldn't cut power from wall to PSU after use. Being honest, i still don't fully believe it. Also, my pc didn't turn on today. Hitting the power button on cabit would make the fans go off but no light in cabinet and no power to peripherals. Send my psu for RMA.

[SOLVED] is VM as safe as RDP ?

yes so i understand that if i use malicious programs in RDP, it has no way to harm my system (using random RDP on the web, not self hosted) but if i run a VM on my own system, is it encapsulated enough to protect the host system from all the malicious programs in VM ?
