Review MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus Review: Affordable Basics

Misleading review. Didn't test with 3900x or 3950x even though this is the premium x570 chipset. VRM Thermals tested by others way higher than normal. Do Not Buy this one.

Overclocking RAM speed AMD Ryzen 1600

Ryzen CPUs have a BIG performance boost when you increase the memory speed. quotemsg=20001145,0,202972]1) It depends on your cooler. If you are only using the stock cooler that comes with the CPU, then not much. Further, it depends on how good you did on the silicon lottery. No two same chips...

Do gamers benefit from hyper threading? 8700k vs 9700k

SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC Gaming Headset: High Res At A High Price

I own this. The sound quality is great, but some negatives i've experienced are: a) too small, won't fit my 'big' head, b) too quiet, doesn't get very loud, c) cords are too short from DAC to headset.

Wait for i9-9900K, rumors have it, its coming out in August. 1-Will the AVX-512 instruction set be of any benefit for running these software? no, not for quite a while. 2-Aside from Ansys software which may benefit from the extra cores, most of the other software are single threaded and...

Does Intel Hyperthreading and Turbo Boost 2.0 work together?

Is there any synergy using Turbo Boost 2.0 and Hyperthreading together, or are these two completely separate features?

    Turbo boost 2.0 question

Anyone know who/if if you can set the lower and upper limit to Turbo Boost 2.0? Or is it just canned from the factory. Like if could set 2.0 Ghz as lower, and 4.5 as upper, that would be great.
