Hi all. Currently upgrading from a (I suspect to be broken) GTX 980 with 6+8 pins (using 6 and 6+2 cables) to a GTX 1070 with 8+8 pins. I realised this too late (I know, I know) as the card just arrived and I was wondering about power usage. I saw another thread claim filling one 8 pin is enough...
