ive been having trouble pxe booting to load window onto a laptop. well I can now get as far as making the install disk run but it ends up runningon both computers. my server has the install option but the laptop has it greyed out. any idea how to fix this so it will run install on the laptop.

I am using tftpd32 app. I get to the point where on my m200 I type in use net y:\\192.168.1.5\cd but I get an error the network name cannot be found. I shared my cd drive and gave it the shared name cd. am I missing a step? here is the instructions I am using but maybe they are wrong somewhere...

I posted this q in another thread but got no answer. I have been trying other methods with no luck but I know the pxe can be done bc I have done it before but it has been a long time. I have an xp disk I want to install on a Toshiba m200 from a desktop pc. the Toshiba does not have a dvd drive...

I give up on thiswhole pxe thing. I know you are supposed to be able to use an sd card. so anyone know how to make an sd insto abootable xp install. I managed to fix the problem with the files I have on my orig install cd.
