So since SSDs tend to be going down in price, how cheap are they going to be in a year judging from current trends? I'm specifically wondering about M.2 SATAs which are still a bit expensive now.

Upgraded from a IVB Pentium to a Sandy i5 on a H77 motherboard. 8 GB RAM. 120 GB SSD, 500 GB HDD. Radeon HD 7950.

Ugh what would cause me to break my motherboard? I thought I was being careful. Could it be a software issue? Because when it works, it works flawlessly until I shut down the computer

I've tried this with the RAM and the SSD as well as HDD. Those are all working. I've tested the GPU in a different system I have and that's working. The only things left are the CPU and the Motherboard. How can I determine what's wrong?

Do you want specific components? They are all compatible, I'm sure of that. It's a PC that I bought the parts for and built.

I have. Both times it didn't work. I have speakers plugged in that alert me when the startup is successful because I can hear the windows sound. The machine doesn't boot up except once every 20 times or so. It isn't just the display that isn't working.

I feel like I'd get better performance buying an Ivy Bridge Pentium from microcenter for $40 and getting a r7 260x to go with it. That costs the same as the APU

What would be the discrete equivalent? Is it better or worse than a r7 240? What about a r7 250?

Just saw it at Pax East. It's not on their website yet. Apparently they fit a GTX 760, and a i5 into a box that can be held in your hand. It's 5 inches in its longest dimension.
