    CPU Tempature Spikes

So recently I have noticed sudden, intense drops in FPS while playing games. I got curious and looked at my CPU temps and I noticed that it jumps to ~400F without a noticeable jump in load or a drop in fan/pump speed. I checked in the BIOS and I haven't seen this happen. Ive only observed it...

    HP EliteBook fails to boot

HP EliteBook is all I can gather about this laptop without it turning on. It has a full charge and the fans spin up to 100% and that's it. The keys are lit up but don't respond. Occasionally it does boot but only after MANY tries. I don't even get the HP Bios screen. Could it maybe be a...

    SSD Boot Drive Size

So I'm thinking of purchasing an SSD to serve as a boot drive to run my OS (Windows 8.1) off of and I was wondering what the recommended size I should get for it It. I would like it to be as future-proof as possible so I dont have to buy a new one because Windows ___ came out and it is too big...

Which WI-FI card should I get?

For the most part there all the same. Jut get one that fits and has good reviews. Detachable antennas are good if you want to attach a large antenna or to use a cable to move the antenna somewhere with a better connection (such as on top of your desk instead of under it).

    Galaxy S5 Spare Battery Charger

Hello I own a Galaxy S5 and it is by far one of the best phones I've owned and has a decent battery life for what it can do. Unfortunately, batteries do run out and I was wondering whether a spare battery charger from Samsung was worth it. I would plan on using it either to get a faster charge...

Newly installed Wifi Extender is NOT increasing speeds in dead area

In my experience there is no such things as a decent WiFi extender. What I would suggest is to look online for a cheap router with good reviews and is compatible with DDWRT (Check it on there website). After getting DDWRT loaded on the router (I like the linksys routers) then follow the...

Need help with setting up basic home network (router and windows network settings)

If they are all connected via Ethernet then file upload/download times are going to be practically instantaneous and as for IPs setting up the computers as static is going to save time when the network is starting but for mobile devices (Such as a cellphone) Ive found static IPs great for speedy...

    Overcloking AMD FX-4100

So I've got my H90 water cooling system up for my AMD FX-1400 running and it idles around 40F and i was wondering if i should overclock and if so how do I (I know how to use the bios so don't worry about explaining that). I use the machine as a gaming rig and I've also crammed a NVIDIA GeForce...

Computer won't boot after installing graphics card drivers.

By "not boot" do you mean no image or do fans spin up because you may have just installed the wrong drivers in which case you will need to use on-board graphics or borrow a GPU from a friend.

Okay to use different hard drive brands in same RAID?

It will probably work as long as you don't switch between HDD and SSD because it can be glitchy

Would I have to re-install Windows 8 if I use the same hard drive with a different motherboard?

Ive had decent luck getting windows 8 to boot but if you need a very reliable machine I would recommend to refresh windows 8 by going to Charm bar>Settings>General>Advanced Start-up>Troubleshooting, assuming it will boot at all. MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE you even open the PC.
