    FX 4300 tendes to bottleneck alot of GPU's. I suggest you get GTX 1050 Ti,or if you really want GTX 1060,you would need a better CPU like FX 8300.

    You say your PC is getting pretty slow,did you try installing new OS? I you really want to upgrade,buying a new motherboard,wouldn't be a bad idea. Or you could buy a cooler for your CPU,FX series tendes to go really hot.

    Your CPU is still good,I think you should add extra 30 or so bucks and buy GTX 1070 from some less known brand like Zotac.

    I have FX 4300 and R7 250 and 4 gb of RAM. I know it's not that good,but in pair with 720p monitor,it's just fine for the games I play(CS:GO,War Thunder,GTA V). In the future I plan on getting new GPU like GTX 1050 Ti and more gigs of RAM.
