The only Critical errors in the Windows System logs are when I physically turn off the computer. I get this whenever I do that: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

After a thorough clean with BitDefender, this behavior stopped happening.

The resource meter shows all 12 CPU threads.

After watching the task manager, all the values stop changing so that freezes, too.

I'm using an NZXT Kraken X72 water cooler for my CPU (really nice and expensive) and my CPU temps range from 35C at normal computing and somewhere around 50C at high gaming load. I'm interested in your suggestions on improving CPU and SSD performance.

So the things I did were the following: Installed an NZXT X72 Kraken Liquid Cooler Moved the PC to open air and out from underneath the desk Switched top fans to exhaust instead of intake

Switching the top fans to exhaust brought my max temps down to 78C. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Another update: I've relocated the PC to outside of the under desk space and I've got better temps but my GPU max temp is still 82C. Any other ideas to cool the PC more? The stock case fans might not be the greatest (the 3 at the front and 1 at the rear). Anybody know if better fans might...
