Legacy USB was enabled in BIOS. I solved the problem by plugging the mouse USB plug-in into a USB "C" port. Thanks for heading me in the right direction.

Will that address a Bluetooth problem?

The Bluetooth mouse works fine in Windows 11 on the same motherboard, but will not work when I am in BIOS. It used to work but stopped for some reason. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I finally got the BIOS update to work by following your instructions although I had to skip over 1903 because it didn't work (twice). I am now on 2004 BIOS. I found the Intel ME utility and installed it, but my mouse will not work in BIOS. Any thoughts on a fix for that?

Thanks very much! How do I determine what MEI updates are required for each BIOS update? Are those listed on the ASUS site under utilities?

Thanks! For some reason, when I follow the instructions including renaming and try to update my BIOS. I get the not a BIOS file message. My current BIOS is 1704 . . . looks like it is outdated.

I have an Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi) motherboard(MB) that I purchased in 2018 or so. I upgraded to Windows 11 when it came out and the MB passed the Windows 11 compatibility/health check. As of late, it failed 11 compatibility with TPM 2.0. The MB has a 14-pin TPM connector so I purchased...
