Samsung Magician says the firmware is up to date. I am using a 240G Kingston A400 at the moment but i was hoping to replace the Kingston SSD with my 850 EVO because it has 512 MB of DRAM cache and the A400 is DRAM-less. My brother gave me a newer laptop because i was having problems with my...

I have run numerous speed tests on 2 different laptops with Samsung Magician and i either get a slow write speed or the Samsung Magician program crashes, just the software crashes...

Question Ryzen 4600G upgrade keeps crashing

At this point i think my best option is to try updating the BIOS back to the previous P5.40, even though the motherboard support page says once the board is upgraded to P7.30 i can't go back to an older version. A couple of years ago i did upgrade to P7.30 and was having problems (i don't...

Question Ryzen 4600G upgrade keeps crashing

The same problems of constant blue-screens are back with the old 2200G, so my problems seem completely unconnected to the new refurbished 4600G APU. After reinstalling the 2200G my PC ran perfectly for 15 hours straight , then it suddenly blue-screened. When i restarted the PC it would only run...

Question Ryzen 4600G upgrade keeps crashing

Update; I switched back to the 2200G two hours ago and everything seems to be working perfectly. Looking back, when i installed the 4600G, it is possible i did not reset fTPM for the new CPU on first boot-up. I was worried i might get locked out of my C drive so i chose "N" rather than Y. I...

Question Ryzen 4600G upgrade keeps crashing

I never checked if Secure Boot was enabled or not, the BIOS was set to defaults and fTPM had to be disabled. X.M.P was never enabled in the BIOS because the 2200G would not support speeds above 2666MHz. No, I never cleared the CMOS, i will try that. I purchased the 4600G online from Best Buy...

2 days ago i upgraded my ASRock X370 Killer SLI motherboard from a 2200G to a refurbished 4600G (the 4600G is identified in CPU-Z). Ever since my PC keeps blue-screening. The reason for the blue screen seems different every time, and on other occasions it does not blue screen, it just reboots...
