Thanks Math Geek still haven't ruled out the 5-5600x I'm looking every day for deals but let me know if you see one, in case I missed it. Old pc is running good now with new PSU + GPU. One thing wierd though is it bench tests better using normal or power saving over turbo will post results...

I am very biased towards liquid cooling because remember how much case temps dropped and never seemed to have to battle heat after I switched . But that was when I still overclocked Something like a vertical air cooler may work good because I can mount a 300mm or 4 x 120mm on the side panel...

Have been using a corsair H100 for about 8 years and really like it. But cant find any brackets in stock to retrofit it to the LLA 1700 sockett (and the pump is 8 years old) Would I be able to just replace the pump on the h100? Or could get a new cheap cooler like ID-Cooling FROSTFLOW X 240 CPU...

I have been looking to upgrade to the i5-12400 myself the 610, 660 and 670 are the chipsets that go good with the i5-12400 The 660 & 670 offer more options there is another 600 series chip for overclocking or if you plan on upgrading the chip within a few years

Just came across this hope it helps CPU: A red light near this indicator means the motherboard does not recognize the CPU, which could mean many things. The CPU might not be plugged in correctly, or one of the pins is bent. It could also be the CPU fan is not plugged in. Finally, a dead CMOS...

Any red lights lit on MB? Also have you blown out the radiator on the h-100i?
