I bought and built a gaming PC 2 years ago, consisting of pretty basic specs. (R5 3600, RTX 2060S, 16GB 3000mhz, couple of tb of storage, etc.) Recently it's been having a few bluescreens and occasionally not posting, and as of today it's completely stopped working and on the occasion that it posts it displays windows boot preparing automatic repair, and it can't repair it, and is stuck in a constant loop. It is unable to do anything, including the following; reset, factory reset, enter safe mode, enter bios, etc. If I turn automatic repair off, it still doesn't boot to home as it says it has an error of some sort. I don't believe it's the motherboard, because as I've been told nothing would be showing if the mb was fried. I fear it could be a power supply issue, that not being enough power. (550W. Yes, i know i made the worst mistake when i bought it cheaping out on the psu.) are there any suggestions as to what the problem may be? will stay active to this thread.

Thanks

Some questions:
  1. Have you made any changes to the PC recently?
  2. What make is your PSU?
  3. If you hit start, and type 'view reliability history' and open that it might give you more information about what's going on.
  4. What are your CPU temperatures?
If you can provide a full system spec that would be helpful.

No changes were made recently, though a few months ago a HDD was added for extra storage space. My psu is a thermaltake 550W. My pc doesn't fully boot, only comes to automatic repair loop and can't do anything, including starting in safe mode. My cpu temps under full load are around 75-90 celsius, because i have an aio and have added thermal paste maybe 2 months or 3 months ago. (corsair h100i 2 120mm)
cpu- r5 3600
gpu- rtx 2060s (galax)
ram- corsair vengeance 16gb 3000mhz (no rgb version)
Storage- Samsung 980 evo sata 1tb, a hdd from an old dell optiplex, and an unnamed 1tb ssd my dad gave me as a gift. ( No problems arose multiple months after any of these were installed)
psu- thermaltake smart rgb 80+ bronze
mobo- gigabyte b550m h
case- thermaltake h200
aio- corsair h100i 2 fan 120mm

Just to make the suspect list smaller unplug all disk except the OS disk.

Any diff?

Can you get into the bios?

GOOD NEWS
i took apart and rebuilt my computer with no success, so i started troubleshooting. couldnt do anything, not even factory reset but i changed my os to windows 10 HOME rather than windows 10 and it booted as per usual. my guess is the other operating system has corrupted files or something has happened, so due to that scare i'v made a resotre point and a couple of backups. thank you for your help!!
