Thanks for your advise, which fixed the problem. The setting was switched to High Contrast mode. I removed this setting, and color is now back to normal. I could not find a "save the setting" button. Maybe my Hisense Chromebook doesn't have one. Guess I will learn soon enough upon reboot...

Somehow color display changed to black, white, and gray. How do I restore full color?? Thanks for any advise.
