[SOLVED] Random network changes, Win7 and Linux

I´ll try that. If changing network address helps sometimes, do you think it would make sense to set a static (user configured) IP address on the internet protocol tab? My method is just to try anything, if it´s a quick or temporary fix that´s fine too, as long as it works.

[SOLVED] Random network changes, Win7 and Linux

Thanks for the replies! Update - this morning I logged in to Windows. The connection was fine, until I restarted, the problem was back. Just now I uninstalled the network drivers and now the connection is back on. Wtf (?). Do you still think this could be it? Thanks again.

    nvlddmkm.sys crashing on startup

Hi. I´ve posted about this before, but had resolved it by reinstalling the display driver. However, yesterday I experienced a few more crashes (which were due to Avast! Antivirus) and in the process of figuring out what was wrong, I ended up reinstalling the display driver again. Now, the...

Event ID 41 after clean shutdown

I´m still having issues with this, and it´s getting worse. Lately every time I shut down (properly) and start up again, I get a blue screen, then it reboots. I usually choose to start normally, and I get the same notification as always, event ID 41 Kernel Power. Still no idea what´s going on...

Event ID 41 after clean shutdown

Hi. I´ve been having a problem for a month or so in which I randomly get an event 41 (The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.) This is after a normal shut down each time...
