Having the same issue with my HP Z240. CPU-ID shows all (4) sticks of 8Gb - 32 total Yet BIOS and Win 10 S system Info only show 16 Gb in Channel One. Have updated BIOS to latest version, What next?

Have a Z240 that the memory slots 3 & 4 do not seem to recognize the modules in them. Put those modules in slots 1 & 2 and they are recognized. Any ideas on where to start looking for the issue? Thanks

Above procedure worked great. Went from the i3 to the Xeon. Now to add more memory.

Is it possible to upgrade the i3-6100 CPU to a Xeon E3-1245-V6? CPU supported list shows the Xeon. If so what would be the best procedure? Thanks
