[SOLVED] Any Tips on How I Should Upgrade?

It looks like the rear (where the current 120mm cooler is) only supports up to 120mm. But the front supports 1x360mm and 1x280mm. Most of the components are near the rear, with ample spacing in the front. I wonder if it is even worth adding a cooler to the front given this?

[SOLVED] Any Tips on How I Should Upgrade?

Hey everyone, Thank you all for the quick response and input! So just a few responses based on everything suggestion. 1. I should probably clarify a bit more about my MATLAB uses. It is true that the software requirements for it are minimal. However, much of what I do involved pre-processing...

[SOLVED] Any Tips on How I Should Upgrade?

Hello, So to preface this post - I understand that I'm not really in the position where I even need to upgrade my computer. However, I have been given excess funds and am basically only able to use them to upgrade my system within the next few months (long story...). That being said, I feel...

[SOLVED] Picking the Right SSD for my Needs and System

Gotcha, but it looks like I only have room for one of those 1TB SSD drives, right? So there is no way to connect two (for 2 TB total) given the single M.2 slot?

[SOLVED] Picking the Right SSD for my Needs and System

Hello, I actually had another question come up before I purchase this. So the intel 665p SSD has "M.2" and "PCIe 3.0x4" in its title. Would my motherboard support two of these at the same time? The reason I ask is because my motherboard only has one M.2 slot (with E key for wireless AC - which...

[SOLVED] Picking the Right SSD for my Needs and System

Thanks for the quick and thorough response! Wow, those prices are very minimal. I suppose I'll go with an NVMe drive if that is the case. I'll probably try to go a little higher into the 2TB storage range just because of the data I'll be storing. I guess another question is whether or not...

[SOLVED] Picking the Right SSD for my Needs and System

Hello, I'm currently in the market to buy a new SSD. However, I'm very unfamiliar with the differences between the various types, whether my motherboard would even support some of them, and if one type is more appropriate for my needs versus another. My system has a MSI Z390-A Pro...

    Question Purchasing First Gaming Desktop

I've looked into Xidax before, and have heard great things about their customer service and quality. However, their products seem to be a bit on the upper price end, at least if I were to try and get the same specs as listed in the product above.

    Question Purchasing First Gaming Desktop

Hey everyone, Let me just preface this post by stating that I understand it is a better idea to build my own PC as opposed to buying a pre-built model. However, I do not have the time nor expertise at the moment to go about doing this (or the confidence in my abilities to do so). Therefore, I...
