Question Info needed on unknown Antec fans

Seeing it that way, it shouldn't matter much. It'd be good if they shared specs, but after i replace them i'll have a look at their model number and try to look up the specs. Thank you for the help.

Question Info needed on unknown Antec fans

Greetings everyone, For general context, since i'm close to upgrading to a 12700K, i was looking at upgrading my case fans since they're the stock ones (and have served me perfectly so far). My case is an Antec DF700 FLUX, and i cannot find any specific specs on the front 3 ARGB fans that come...

[SOLVED] Memory Config. change from 16GB to 24GB. Is it buggy or safe?

I guess i'll get 4x8GB to bump it to 32 someday. If 24GB can be unstable, i'd rather be with what i have right now. Thanks everyone, you've been a big help.

[SOLVED] Memory Config. change from 16GB to 24GB. Is it buggy or safe?

Great to know, i'd guess that's a rare occurrence but it's interesting that that can happen. Thanks for the info.

[SOLVED] Memory Config. change from 16GB to 24GB. Is it buggy or safe?

I'm aware, but didn't know that i'd still be mixing RAM that way.

[SOLVED] Memory Config. change from 16GB to 24GB. Is it buggy or safe?

A seasoned PC builder always pays attention to such details, but i know it's not "perfectly fine" because it's not common to mix different size modules. Hence why i asked here.

[SOLVED] Memory Config. change from 16GB to 24GB. Is it buggy or safe?

Roger that. It's not really mixing though. Exact same HyperX Fury modules just different color and Size. Sometimes i get unsettingly close to 14GB. With only a Browser, Steam, Discord and a game (even a game that's not very RAM hungry like Wreckfest or DOOM 2016, these are just examples)...

[SOLVED] Memory Config. change from 16GB to 24GB. Is it buggy or safe?

Greetings everyone, I'm wanting to upgrade from the 16GB i've got right now (4x4GB 1600Mhz) to 2x4GB and 2x8GB. My main concern is if i'm going to lose any quad-channel performance gains or am i just going to get a more unstable system. Any help is highly appreciated as i'm not that much of a...

[SOLVED] Identifying what needs cooling for OC

All sensors report normal temps, nothing overheating as far as i've seen. If you've read everything i wrote above, i said that this wasn't a problem until the new Cryorig was covering the motherboard. Alright, i appreciate the input. I think i've got some more heatsinks that are great for...

[SOLVED] Identifying what needs cooling for OC

Hey guys, I've had some problems since in changed the CPU cooler on my 4790K (went from a Raijintek Themis Evo to a Cryorig R1 Universal), i've asked for some help here on the Forums a few months ago for help ID'ing the cause for my CPU to clock down when it went anywhere close to 70ºC (at...

[SOLVED] OC'd 4790K downclocks when gaming for no reason

Well, i've reached a conclusion after a while of researching and having the CPU down to 4.5Ghz for 1 week and a half. It's the VRM that's overheating. I've placed an order for 2 little Raspberry Pi Heatsinks and some thermal grizzly thermal pads to go along with it in attempt to make it usable...

[SOLVED] OC'd 4790K downclocks when gaming for no reason

I referred above that i first used the AI Suite 3 software to try it out, and after that i changed the values in the BIOS to a safer, better OC. Also, OC'ing with AI Suite does save the values in the BIOS but i prefer BIOS OC over any software. It didn't reset any BIOS values at all, only my OC...

[SOLVED] OC'd 4790K downclocks when gaming for no reason

If you take a look in the picture i linked above to the word "this", you'll see that it never throttles. Also, it didn't reset BIOS settings, only the CPU's settings (which is to be expected since i basically re-seated the CPU. When doing something inside the case i always unplug the PC lol, why...

[SOLVED] OC'd 4790K downclocks when gaming for no reason

So, last week this started happening when doing medium-heavy CPU intensive gaming sessions (ex. Mafia 3, Forza Horizon 4, etc) Last weekend i switched cooler from a mid-end Raijintek Tower Cooler to a Cryorig R1 Universal (using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut paste as well), and before the switch i've...
