From what I've read, RTX 20XX presales were low and NVidia has a ton of the GTX 10XX inventory, so I'd guess around ~ 3-6 months until price drop #1. Once the 10XX are gone they'll deal with you. This is all assuming the cryptoconartists don't try and revive their scam..
