I'm going to order a 980 Ti tomorrow to replace my shittacular XFX 7770, and I was wondering if my CPU would bottleneck it? I eventually will upgrade to an i7 4790k (maybe by next month), but would it be fine paired up with my current CPU?

Let's say I wanted max performance at 1080p for now, but I wanted to SLI/Crossfire one of these cards in 2-4 years for 4K. Which card should I buy?

Okay, so yesterday, I started playing BF3 again. About a few minutes into the game, I noticed than my frames would drop from 40 to 1, then shoot back up in a fraction of a second. I mentioned that in the chat box, and somebody mentioned Bottlenecking. Is my GPU bottlenecking my CPU? I have an...
