I did a chkdsk and it said it found no problems. The \switch file wasn't found whatever that means?

Every time I boot I either get BSOD where it says Unmountable Boot Volume error or I get automatic repair tool which takes me to black screen. When I try use start up repair it said it couldn't repair it. No idea what to doooo

I don't know if this is important but it's saying "an operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain and operating system." is the Windows reinstall definitely what I need?
