Thank you so much. You're a saint :) I'm trying to find the best deal for a customer. I have the XPS, but have since taken out the i7 and bought a new motherboard for my fiance's computer to make it nice and speedy. Cause of that though, I need a few parts to make the half shell work haha.

Oof, that's just as expensive. I was trying not to spend as much as the i7.

Hi. I was wondering what would fit a motherboard I have but be an i5 variant of what it requires, the i7-4790. The motherboard is a Dell KWVT8. I'm not sure the exact model of it, but the computer is a Dell XPS that came with Windows 8 (maybe the XPS 8700).

Thanks everyone. The cpu fan I found in my shop ended up working out. I just had something loose.

How do you hook it up? Not seeing screws. Is the one I found not going to allow the cpu to start? Kinda pressed for time.

@Koekieezz @anotherdrew I found an Intel E97378-001 12vdc lying around that fit, but not sure that's good enough. Might just be tired too cause the computer won't turn on. Have something not hooked up right.

I had hoped the fans I had lying around would have worked, but there's parts blocking the screws from going into the motherboard I just bought. The motherboard is the Asus B85M-G. I'm looking for a cpu fan. I have the processor already, an i7-4790. Here's a link to the motherboard...

I ended up buying the one I initially linked from Amazon. Here's hoping it doesn't have any intermittent issues, since that happens sometimes, rarely.

Yeah, I had changed the list to show in the U.S, but ran into the same issue. Is there a cheaper new motherboard you'd recommend over that one, or?

I don't want a used motherboard. The list wasn't showing prices or where to buy. Most lead to asking if I wanted to be notified if one becomes available. The rest lead to very expensive motherboards. I want to spend under $200, and get a good motherboard that works with a Radeon graphics card...

Does it matter which one of each on that list, cause there's several models with the same names? I'm just looking for one, cause there's too many to choose from.

Yeah....ASUS support is officially useless like I suspected. :\ They EVEN said it was 4th gen and proceeded to recommend that motherboard. I sent them a link to it on Amazon to confirm it was the right model too, and they confirmed it. What a waste of time. Any recommendation on which out of...
