    Question Could something go wrong?

I think I found the solution to my problem. My motherboards voltages were screwed up. it was giving my cpu 1.4 volts for some reason which caused overheating. While using overdrive , it suggested me to keep my voltage below 1.21 volts and with that I was able to get 4.1 GHz with good temps. All...

    Question Could something go wrong?

I replaced the thermal paste a couple of days ago and instantly gave me better temps.. Update I was able to run at 3.8 GHz with 1.18 volts while still keeping peak temps at 65 degrees. I think the default bios settings for my board are over compensating with higher volts hence the 80 degrees...

    Question Could something go wrong?

The psu is from Corsair which is pretty reliable, I have been running it for 4 years and nothing has gone wrong with it Though the cpu is old it is more than enough for my day to day tasks and gaming(I get a consistent 150 fps on fortnite at low to med settings and it never drops below 80) I put...

    Question Could something go wrong?

Hey there My cpu would run at around 79.1 degrees when I am playing games (not full load ) even after underclocking it to 3.2 GHz. I looked up online for solutions and i read that if the cpu voltage was over compensating it would result in more heat so I decided to undervolt it from 1.3 volts...

PC runs fine when i use oc genie but when i dont use ocg it restarts after sometime without any warning

when i run my pc at 3.8ghz the temp goes above 55 while idling and mostly itss becoz of the amd stock cooler which sucks. If i get a new cooler a good one then i will be able to get the temp down to around 45 @3.8ghz.

PC runs fine when i use oc genie but when i dont use ocg it restarts after sometime without any warning

well basically my cpu was getting more voltage than it was required hence the heat and restarts. i underclocked it i.e decreased the voltage and clock speed. I am pretty sure that i can run the machine at 3.8 ghz with a good cooler and correct voltage rate. Thanks though!!!!!!
