Sorry for my let reply darkbreeze,I think I found the problem when uninstall the network adapter it stopped restarting.Now what should I do?

I even removed the hard disk and its still restarting.help me guys.

Auto reboot value is 0 I changed it to 1 nothing happened.

Before I reinstalled my os I was playing far cry 4,the pc was working fine only the restart problem was there.even now everything is working properly only this problem.

ok I tried ,I removed the power and the reset button and shutdown the pc by shorting the two pins now it takes longer time to restart after shutdown,if it was restarting after 4/5 second after shutdown now its 15/20 second.

already tried the safe mode,even in safe mode this thing happens every time ,if i reset the bios from the switch in MB only for the first 2/3 times the pc shutsdown properly then again it keeps restarting.

My power supply is seasonic 620 watt, how to know which one is not working?I dont have a spare psu to check is there any other way to sort it out?

sorry for my earlier post the pc was not starting up because the rams are not set properly,now its ok pc is starting up properly but still when i try to shut-down it restarts after 3/4 second. I already updated the bios . reset the bios reinstalled the OS. unchecked wake up on lan or any usb...

I updated my bios version to 4003 the problem is still there.I removed the battery and cleaned the bios now there is a red light in my motherboard which is on and no display is coming out .

Hi I am using windows 7 ,my mobo is asus p8z68-m pro . my computer keeps restarting after shut-down ,but after i reset the bios the pc shuts down properly for 2-3 times but again it keeps restarting.please help.
