Samsung introduced 3D Nand for SSDs with the 850 line. It'll be nice to see benchmark results between the two brands in a few months.

Is there a way to turn this off if you don't want it recording? Not sure if I like the idea about it being "always on" and filling my HDD with stuff to constantly clear out.

Well, this is great news for not only games, but for any device that uses graphical interfaces, such as those in the medical, military, and financial fields. As for games, those expect Vulcan support in any M$ published IP like "Gears of War".

Love the concept, but combining a city-builder with an in-depth political managing system leaves me doubting how complete it will be. It could end up being a genre-definer or a complete disappointment. Still, I'm really excited about more news of this game's development. I'd like to know what...
