[Monitor] Looking for something better than DELL P2414H

Appreciate the response NineFace. Since it's going to be on a 1k resolution I think 27" is too large for it. So sorry, I would not go higher than 24". Still haven't decided yet if I should go with 2414H or not.

[Monitor] Looking for something better than DELL P2414H

Hello! I have read a few forum posts and articles, even though there aren't so many, about DELL's new P2414H and it seems very promising as it is better built than the previous generations, including the UltraSharps. I was really itching to buy it as soon as I had the money and now that I do...

1 week of research. Tell me what you think before I buy

From my experience with HDDs, when they start to tick they're pretty much FUBARed. In regards to SSDs, I have no idea how they behave when they start to die. I'm somehow thinking about buying the SSD with 5 years warranty and hoping it dies before the 5 year mark. The questio is, can it start to...

1 week of research. Tell me what you think before I buy

Response for g-unit1111 : Thanks for the suggestion, but your build costs more than the original where i live (about 160$ more). And also according to this article the RAM you've suggested is of lower performance and the cost is not significantly less...

1 week of research. Tell me what you think before I buy

Hello. I was planning to get 280x, but it's out of stock everywhere. Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2lY4P Future modifications to the build: 1. Buy h100i and OC the CPU 2. Buy a better GPU (i.e. gtx 780, r9 290x) My concerns: 1. PSU - Will the PSU be enough for OCing the CPU and changing...

4670(NONK) gaming. Advice before I click the checkout button! :)

Obviously the question is what do you think about the build? Should I go ahead and buy it?

4670(NONK) gaming. Advice before I click the checkout button! :)

Hello! Please be consistent in your answer :). This is my gaming build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/z3rongod/saved/2W68 CPU NON K: Why I won't OC: There is no difference in gaming from all the benchmarks i've seen at 1080p. Please agree with or contradict me and explain how a more expensive...

    Is my build ok?

Much easier for people to review if you use this website and post a permalink to your saved build: http://pcpartpicker.com/

    Help with $2,000 build

Regarding the monitor I would look at P2414H or any of the new P models that just came out. From the few reviews out there everybody's saying they are better than the older ones, including P and U variants. Do some research on it. Sadly it's 1920X1080 and not 1920X1200 as your choice. Best of...

Figured out build. Need advice on some things!

Thanks for the prompt reply Jeremy! Regarding the bigger cases: That's why I chose micro-atx, so I would be able to get a smaller case. I figured there's no benefit in having a normal ATX motherboard, since i won't plug anything but CPU, RAM, 1 GPU, SSD, HDD and front USB. Regarding the GTX vs...

Figured out build. Need advice on some things!

Still have no answers :( To recap: The build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/z3rongod/saved/2W68 I don't plan to OC at all. I will stick with i5-4670. I don't plan to add another GPU. The problems: 1. Motherboard - i moved from ASrock h87m pro4 to the gigabyte one i selected now 2. Case - I do...

Figured out build. Need advice on some things!

That website has more expensive parts than other stores and is missing almost half the list of components. CDON, dustin home, netonnet are among the best stores. Thanks for the suggestion though!
