After doing so, was able to hold cpu and gpu fans with my hands and use the restart button on the pc case to trigger American Megatrends fan header error...
Edit: have also cleaned ram and slots and gpu and pcie slots. Can also not just plug in DisplayPort/hdmi to mobo since ryzen 7 3800x does not have integrated graphics.
