Actually the thing is my motherboard support 65 TDP cpu and I installed 95 TDP cpu now its frequency is slower than stock speed this is because of overheating and I can decrease this heating issue by undervolting few point which will boost my performance and less power consumption

I want to undervolt my cpu core2quad q9550 I used Intel tunning software and throttle stop but it's not working I mean it's not showing undervolt option

i want to know that my motherboard is compatible or not my motherboard BIOSTAR model no: G41D3B ver:6.0 CPU Q9550 is this compatible with above motherboard please help..

My motherboard is biostar g41d3b ver 6.0 I have recently upgraded to this cpu from my old e5700 dual core but the problem is that the q9550 is not working on stock speed it's like 2.83ghz and it's actual speed that's now showing is 2550.0 Mhz x 8.5 multiplier my motherboard support FSB 1333...
