It seems to hang at the fullscreen logo now. I'm guessing the mobo is dead. RMA time!

Well the odd thing is that I have a second computer hooked into the same power strip and it's just fine. It will show up in RAM as having 2GB and when I try to boot Windows other oddities happen. I can boot to safe mode but not just normal. I have reset BIOS too with no change.

This is at the BIOS screen. BIOS will be able to read it. Before last night BIOS would show 4096MB. This morning it only sees 3200MB.

I lost power some time over the night and when I booted up the computer I noticed that it was only recognizing 3200MB of RAM instead of the 4096MB actually installed in the system. I took out two sticks and saw that it was correctly identifying 2048MB so at least I know that is working. In...

I'd say mid 2007. Hopefully sooner rather than later though. My 1.1TB array has roughly 939MB free at the moment. I need large drives so I can hold all the music and movies I have backed up and ready to serve out to computers around the house.

I have the same two monitors running on a X1900XTX. Just like he says, they run beautifully in games. Highly recommended.

It shows improvement, not that hard to see. In game it's a little tougher to tell but it's definitely present. Just without doing time demos it's harder to pin a number on the improvement.

Yeah, installing that X-Fi sounds card only boosted my 3dmark06 score from 6350 to 6580. Not a big jump in performance at all. :roll:
