The optical drive isn't in a white sata plug. That's why it is in sata port 6. I even plugged my ssd into the optical drive slot and it still loads. The ssd Loads from any slot. This is confusing me to no end.

Ok so I identifyed the motherboard with cpu-z and acording to this page its supports up to a core 2 duo/quad and is a LGA 775 socket. So this cpu should be compatible with no problems? Other than possibly the power supply.
