theres a psu tier list that you can look up. it gives you almost up to date information on the proper psu you should be getting.

amd ryzens are cheap and decent but still above $150 for something better than the 8-cores you already have

Update : Seems like the issue was tied to the motherboard. Tested by interchanging the variables and the motherboard doesnt seem to be able to turn the PSU on. but at least now i have a cx 750 and a gigabyte aorus =D

guess for the sake of future victims, imma get a cx550 and a b450 and try it out, will update anyone watching the thread

To the future saviors, my computer has recently been unable to turn on(fans not spinning, as if no power was there). This happens on and off and started about a month ago when i stopped using it on a daily basis. Also, the clock seems to be off by a few hours every now and then for no reason...
