Hi CountMike - thanks for the reply. Yeah I was aware of the speed drop - I guess the question should have been is it better to run 32GB of DDR4 at 2400MHz or 20GB of ram at 2666MHz (for fairly standard usage no hardcore gaming, mainly just for watching live streams/youtube/web browse on the TV)

I just got a Dell Optiplex 7070 i5-9500. It comes with 16gb of DDR4 2666MHz. I have a spare 16gb DDR4 2400MHz and 4gb of DDR4 2666MHz. Which one should I chuck in the extra slot?

probably a dumb question but looking at the connectors, I need a 6pin PCIe - but the VGA connectors on the side of this look like 8pin. Do you just plug a 6pin cable into the 8pin slot (ie is the 8pin backwards compatible to 6pin) also postage on that one is like $20 so cheaper on Amazon at...

hi thanks for the quick reply. I bought the 960 already. I paid AUD30 for it (about USD20). RM650x is for sale on ebay used and delivered for AUD109 (USD73) or best offer so maybe around AUD100-105? The seller says it was used for about 1yr. Brand new AUD200ish (USD135)
