Hi All,
I have had a good look through the threads and usual recommendation in the situation where there is not a PCI-e adapter is to get a new PSU.
My situation is a little different. I inherited a MSI B560M bazooka with i5-11400F and a Gt1030 which I want to upgrade to a GeForce GTX960.
It has an Aywun A1-5000 500W PSU connected to it.
Everywhere I look online the PSU is listed as having:
> 500W, 20+4 PIN ATX with cable sleeving, 1x(P4+P4) EPS, 1x 6-PIN PCI-Express VGA, 4x SATA, 4x Molex
(eg: https://www.jw.com.au/product/aywun-power-supply-unit-500-w-24-pin-atx-white)
For some reason my one has:
> 500W, 20+4 PIN ATX with cable sleeving, 1x(P4+P4) EPS, and then something like 6-8x SATA and 2-3x Molex
Does anyone know if there is a simple plug/cable change that can be accessed inside the PSU to get a PCI-e connection as the current models have?
I have tried searching for a company website for aywun but havent had any luck with that.
