Corsair make really good cases. Their Carbide and Obsidian lines are some of the best. That 500r is a good choice and you wont be disappointed. just make sure your parts will fit in it before buying.

A Gaming desktop will last a lot longer than a laptop and will be a lot cheaper. Plus you can upgrade a PC. You cant upgrade all laptops. Save your money on the laptop and convince them to help you get a PC which will last a lot longer and be cheaper.

All that is telling me is that I can install Windows 8.1 through bootcamp. What I need to know is if I can put only Windows 8.1 on a brand new hard drive into my mac or do I need to run it through bootcamp.

So I have a Macbook Pro that has windows 7 bootcamped on it. I was wanting to upgrade my Hard Drive to 1 TB. I only want windows on that hard drive. Can I install windows 8.1 on it without installing the MacOS or do I have to install MacOS and than bootcamp windows?
