I don't need a 4th, 5th, or 6th generation CPU. I just need something I can upgrade. Plenty of older CPU's are decently fast, like the aforementioned 2540m. If you don't know of any laptops that can do this, please refrain from answering.

Actually, they do exist. The laptops in question are the Compaq CQ57-339WM and the Asus x501A. They have removeable CPU's that I upgraded to the Core i5 2430M and the Core i5 2540m. I can elaborate more, but if you don't know any laptops, then it probably won't help.

I can only see my second hard drive (in the bios and in Windows 8.1) after I press ctrl + alt + del after pressing F11 to select boot option. This is the fastest way, but I could boot windows and press restart if I wanted too. Nevertheless, I can't see my second hard drive until I soft restart...

Unfortunately, they all involve a replacement of the LCD connected to the digitizer and housing, and simply installing a motherboard and back onto it. They font show how to actually put in an LCD. I've also found plenty of videos on just the digitizer, but alas, nothing.
