Was trying to upgrade ubuntu 16.4 to 17.10 and it froze. Requested a PC restart. Now my computer is stuck showing the ubuntu screen booting up but won't go to the log in. Is there a way to get to finishing the update or how to get past the boot up screen to log in and continue the update?

I took the card out, tried it and still the same result. Put a smaller one and still nothing boot up. Could it be a short on the board?

What psu size do you suggest?

Just put everything in my case and now it'll turn on for anout 5 seconds and shut itself off. I've reseated ram, reinstalled front panel buttons, moved gpu to all 3 pci slots and even removed it completely. I'm at a loss. Specs: Mobo: asrock fatal1ty 970 performance Cpu: amd fx 4350 black...
