first time build need help

Just put everything in my case and now it'll turn on for anout 5 seconds and shut itself off. I've reseated ram, reinstalled front panel buttons, moved gpu to all 3 pci slots and even removed it completely. I'm at a loss.

Specs:
Mobo: asrock fatal1ty 970 performance

Cpu: amd fx 4350 black edition unlocked

Psu: atx ilg-500r2

Ram: crucial ballistix 2-4gb ddr3 1600

Gpu: n560gtx-ti twin frozr II

I think you have a bad PSU.

That's 336 watts for +12v. That is the sign of a cheapo power supply.

That's 498 watts on the +12v line.

Your power supply is too weak to run that video card.

I took the card out, tried it and still the same result. Put a smaller one and still nothing boot up. Could it be a short on the board?
