    Depends where the sound is coming from. If it is from a fan, no. If it is from a hard drive and it's quite loud, it could be a sign that it is broken, or it is just a noisy HDD.

    First, see if it is the fans by having them spinning and stick your finger in gently (kinda unorthodox but it works). If the humming stops, it's that fan.
