GTX 770 always low gpu usage

Hmm. I wouldn't say it's faulty given what you describe, sounds more software/driver related than hardware. Make sure you have the latest drivers and try using MSI Afterburner instead of EVGA Precision. I prefer it personally, but the main reason I suggest trying another program is that there...

Experiment: Can Adding RAM Improve Your SSD's Endurance?

Is this not just reflecting the reduction of the page file? I would think that by reducing the page file down to a minimum size you would achieve the same effect. You can probably turn it off at 16GB ram, maybe even at 8GB and really increase your SSD life.

Microsoft: Cloud Will Quadruple Power of Xbox One

What a load of crap. To hit 30-60fps you need a latency of 16-33ms. There's no way the internet connection will be that good for most people in the first place, let alone for their "cloud service" to do any computing. What a load of crap...

SeaSonic Releases List of Haswell-Ready Power Supplies

^Exactly. If there's issues being cause by Haswell and your PSU being incompatible it's not worth it buy a new PSU for a couple less watts. My money is that this is all a PR stunt to sell power supplies.

pauldhMy pleasure! And many thanks for the feedback and encouragement too! We're thrilled so many of you enjoyed the piece and data.Me too! And that is the plan. Because I want to test each both @ stock and overclocked, 3-4 Processors will likely be the limit. Personally I lean towards the...

Is This Even Fair? Budget Ivy Bridge Takes On Core 2 Duo And Quad

Excellent article! This is exactly what I wanted to see! I'm impressed with how robust the Core2 architecture has been. It's reassuring that my old e6750@3.6 GHz isn't that out of league with modern processors. It still holds up decently in current games, but will be worth upgrading with...

SimCity, One Month Out: Still As Troubled As Day One?

Plenty of single player games like Fallout, Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim, The Witcher, FTL, etc. all are incredibly successful. If you make a quality product and make it easily accessible (i.e. limited DRM) to people, they will pay for it.

Report: Intel Haswell CPU Pricing Possibly Leaked

I'm surprised that these don't cost more considering AMD's mediocre performance as of late. Here's to hoping for Steamroller and competition!

Prolimatech Shows Off Huge MK-26 Black Series GPU Cooler

Ha, I cant be the only one who cracked up at the title. Yes Prolimatech, show off that huge black... er... cooler! Seriously though, I would like to see this tested. Ever hear of diminishing returns? If you ACTUALLY need that much cooling you should be going water cooled instead of this black...

CPU Charts 2012: 86 Processors From AMD And Intel, Tested

amdfangirlSometimes I wish you updated legacy CPUs like the Core 2 Duo or even perhaps the Athlon 64 X2 series, just one or two models so that people upgrading can have an idea how much faster the CPU is in relation to their new purchase. Agreed, maybe just one dual core and one quad? q9550 and...

AMD FX-4170 Vs. Intel Core i3-3220: Which ~$125 CPU Should You Buy?

Nothing too surprising I suppose. AMD is looking to cut 20% of it's workforce and I think I know why. Performance is hit or miss and at twice the power of Intel's offerings. Intel is getting close to competing with ARM with their mainstream lineup and AMD's dual module is still at 125W. What's...

Cpu lag everywere even multi media programs and game crashes

Check if you are running at PCI-e x16 or not. To do this download CPU-Z: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html Click on the "Mainboard" tab and look at the "Graphic Interface" section and see if the link width is at the max width. I'm not sure if a laptop will be at x16 or x8, but either...
