I couldn't agree more with McHenryB. From what I hear, MacKeeper is borderline malware. Everything supplied in OS X (like I feel with most Operating Systems) are quite secure as long as you know how to browse the web safely.
You will need to get a new motherboard supporting the LGA1150 socket in order to hold a i7-4790k. Your RAM should be fine, but consider getting a new GPU if you are planning on doing high-end gaming on a new 4k display. Tom's has a decent guide to monitors that is updated monthly right here...
Not saying that you can go extraordinarily far with a R9 270X (I mean, No extreme 4k gaming, obviously). I don't believe the FX-6300 will be too much of a bottleneck for the type of gaming that you are planning on doing with a R9 270X. I've had gaming PCs with similar performance tier CPUs...
If you go to your computer's Control Panel > System and Security > System, there should be a section detailing your windows activation and your product key. Otherwise check for a sticker with your product key labeled on it which can be found on your device or inside of a manual/box.
First thing that I would make sure of is that your power supply is efficient enough to power the rest of your components (especially your GPU). Another step worth looking into is reinstalling graphics drivers for your graphics card to see if that fixes any of the issues.
I would still recommend saving up for the Hyper 212 EVO as it is pretty budget friendly to begin with. I had a 212 EVO placed on my 1100T with a decent overclock and never had any heating problems. If you are wanting a good CPU Heatsink that you can keep using for a good long while, I would...
I have heard of people powering a 5k Display with GTX 980s, but I was wondering if it would be possible to do it with this GTX 970. I wouldn't play any games at that high of a resolution, I was just wondering if it would be possible to power one to use for daily tasks.
Thank you,
I am trying to figure out if it is possible to switch side panels because the windowed BitFenix Prodigy side panel heats up my graphics card like no other.. Would it be possible to have a BitFenix Phenom Vented Side Panel placed as the side panel on my BitFenix Prodigy? If someone can find me a...
Yeah, truthfully that isn't too bad at all! According to your processor's intel page, it shows that max temp for the processor being around 72.72°C. So even while doing your stress test, you are doing quite well with your build! =]
