If you have 5450 and it works perfectly fine then yeah, your mobo is fine, cause the r9 270 designs are all made with reference to the radeon cards oh the 5000 , 7000 and 4000 series. I suggest you try to contact the HIS people and tell them of your problem (try to force for a refund) here...
