Graphic card issue. His R9 280x

I got my Pc together and when I added my new card i get a debug error of D6 which is no console output. I've taken everything out and and put it back in, I've cleared the CMOS, updated the bios, tried other PCI slots. I still get the same error. This is my second HIS R9 280x both have caused this error. Is this card inappropriate for my system or am I just unlucky to have received two DOA cards. I wouldn't think its the card.. but rather the board itself being done for... Do you have a different GPU you can test with?

There are 2 possbilites i can see : 1- your motherboard has some issues or 2-you are just unlucky
Anyways tell me did you ever have any problems with your os?

I currently have an older 5450 radeon card in it and it works fine.

No issues with the OS so far.

That could be your luck than... I would get a refund and get a different brand. Sapphire's Tri-X, or XFX.

If you have 5450 and it works perfectly fine then yeah, your mobo is fine, cause the r9 270 designs are all made with reference to the radeon cards oh the 5000 , 7000 and 4000 series. I suggest you try to contact the HIS people and tell them of your problem (try to force for a refund) here http://www.hisdigital.com/un/contact.shtml
