    MSI Bad Bios

No it was not older, and they say that it's because you have to update the BIOS twice.that's their solution, which I cannot do due to the problems explained above, I couldn't get the laptop to do anything after I updated it once.

    MSI Bad Bios

Hi, I own a msi pe70 6qe gaming notebook. I needed to update the bios so I asked my best friend google where to download the latest version. Google got me here https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/PE70-6QE.html#down-bios so I downloaded the E1795IMS.119 version. I flashed via flash drive following...

Can't overclock with Turbo Boost enabled

It's variable in cpuz and aisuite, but yes, it reaches x46. Voltage is somewhere around 1.3 in aisuite. It seems it's just a BIOS problem..

Can't overclock with Turbo Boost enabled

That was my concern, I didn't want turbo boost interfering with all cores reaching target speed at the same time. But why the BIOS doesn't show up the core ratio correctly? It's still showing stock frequency, stock voltages, stock multiplier, only temps are changing lol. I know you answered this...

Can't overclock with Turbo Boost enabled

I see, but what does turbo boost exactly do then? I thought it boosted one/two cores when the other three/two hadn't much load, thats why I want it disabled, so every core can run at that speed. For example, I'll put it this way: What's the difference between doing nothing and overclocking to...

Can't overclock with Turbo Boost enabled

Hi, I have an i7 7700k and Asus Maximus IX Hero. I want to do some slight overclock and disable Turbo Boost specially because I don't know very well how it behaves with overclocking. I want all 4 cores to run at 4.5 or 4.6 ghz max. So I disabled turbo boost, and set the core ratio to 46...

    Crossover Cable W10

Hi, I've been trying all day to get this thing to work. I need to get some games from my notebook to my new PC, I'm using a crossover cable. I configured the IPs and the subnet mask. I disabled firewall, I went to advanced network sharing (I don't know how this menu's name in English is) and...

New router for extended wi-fi range

I understand, my last question would be this: Is it a problem plugging the device with an adapter? I live in Uruguay and we have other plugs here Besides that, could you recommend me a powerline adapter? I was looking at some netgear and tp-link but any opinion is welcome
