Should I stress test with LinX / IBT?

I've been overclocking my 6700K in the last few days. I came to the conclusion that trying to overclock over 4.6GHz will demand extremely high voltages to be stable. I tested it with 4.6GHz and 1.385V for 2 hours with OCCT – and it is stable with 65-75c. However, when moving to IBT or LinX, it...

Is a resolution bottleneck really a thing?

i would recommend you to turn it off and then check if there is any improvement in fps. if so, keep it off. Otherwise, probably Vsync is not the problem.

Is a resolution bottleneck really a thing?

Vsync cam make a really big problems. if you even hit only 59 fps or so, it'll automatically decrease to 30fps or so, depends on your refresh rate

Is a resolution bottleneck really a thing?

Your Vsync is off? I saw in youtube a framerate test on fallout 4 with 1080P and higest settings. 60FPS consistently

Is a resolution bottleneck really a thing?

Which games and settings do you try to play with while getting wrost fps? Resolution can't cause a bottleneck.
