Hiya, thank you for the advice, but the fact that it struggles to choose the right boot device after the crash isn't really the problem (I don't think?) the problem is that it crashes in the first place! I do not think (though I could be wrong?) that the failure to select the right boot device...

Nevermind- I think the online version of the driver that I downloaded earlier must have been corrupted- I tried it again and got entirely different results from doing exactly the same thing. =/ Anyway, installing the driver seems to have provided the ability to set custom paper sizes, so yay...

I wonder if anyone can give me some clues! I have a fairly old printer (Epson Stylus DX3800) and a fairly new custom built PC running Windows 10. The printer (which used to be able to print 5x7" photos quite happily with my old computer) now no longer has that paper size, nor any apparent place...
