    Swapped out the psu to a new one and just saw a cap on the motherboard burn, needless to say im [bad language removed] :)

    Booted into windows, everything worked and then the computer shut off under load and now the motherboard is flashing the debug led once and powering down.

    I'm not sure what the BIOS version is, but I'm guessing its older than April 2022. I bought the new Ryzen 5 5500 from the most reputable pc parts store in my country, I've shopped with them for around 3 years and have had no problems until now. I reset the CMOS and swapped in the old CPU...

    I'll try the combination of old CPU and hard resetting CMOS. And yes, I have a speaker like that installed on my motherboard.

    If I change ANY settings in BIOS and exit, (I don't even have to save..) then it'll just keep restarting and beeping with no display output.
