    no problem. Looking at the spec sheet it would suggest that it would default to 2666 as you've said. Whether or not XMP is on ut of the box im not sure. Its very easy to go in and turn it on however if you do not want to try then you may as wekk get RAM around the 2666 mark and save yourself...
