    Best CPU for gaming?

    I have currently got a AMD Athlon 750k and it's bottle necking my GTX 980, I need a upgrade. I was thinking of getting the intel i7 6700k. Would a i7 6700k fix my bottle necking problem? Or would I need a better one?

    I just bought a EVGA GTX 980 which I thought was a big upgrade from my AMD Radeon r9 280 but I seem to only getting a average of 120 on csgo and around 20 fps on arma 3 even with all settings at lowest quality. Any ideas? I've tried loads of things, my drives are up to date, PC is on balanced...
