optimize the ssd/also look for firmware updates. windows updates/netframework updates. reset cmos. virus/malware scans? remove cpu heat sink. clean up and reapply thermal paste. re-seat same........ replace stock heat sink with something better. (hyper 212 maybe?)

I disagree with the gtx660. I have one of those. don't like it. they're not so great.

it's 2gigs vs 4gigs and add game settings. just because the frame rates are near the same doesn't mean that 2gig buffers are wise.

some of you guys keep missing the point on vram............. it isn't about FPS but playability.

not unless they are in a fans way........ can't you route them under/around the heat sink somehow? everything is insulated so nothing should happen. how are the temps?

it's slow. simple as that. i have old machines with slow processors too. let's not ruin this thread.

i gotta say............... nobody in their right mind would buy a 2GHz cpu for anything.... and the build he wants doesn't need a graphics card.
