    I facepalmed after I read the article title. Everyone knows a single driver on either side combined with something like Dolby Headphone is superior to cramming 5 or 7 tiny, crappy drivers into a headphone.

    Just to be completely honest with you, no PC is going to last you 8 years. However, the value of parts out right now is pretty superb, and for the $1500 you want to spend, you can definitely get something that will last quite some time.

    i5-2500 is all you need for gaming, it's been proven pretty well. You can save some money there.
