If you are upgrading your drive, but not changing machine, there are plenty of other clone programs that work better. If you are moving to another machine that is a different story.

Yes a new monitor will improve your system and for all sorts of reasons. There are a lot and I would be willing to bet your benchmarks and FPS will significantly improve.
